Handmade Dichroic Glass n 14K. Gold Filled Wire Wrapped Bangle Bracelet. GCB-03
This gorgeous bangle is made entirely by me in my home studio!
The piece is made using approximately 15 feet of 14K GF. wire. The cabochon is 24mm. round, made with small bits of dichroic in shades of mauve, purple, and dark blue. Capped with a heavy layer of clear for added depth. The bangle is easy to put on and take off and fits comfortably on an average size wrist.
The glass cabochons are made by cutting and carefully layering dichroic glass bits, in a kiln and fired. The piece is then cooled, more dichroic added and re-fired. This is repeated multiple times for incredible depth and color play....(unless a special technique or otherwise described). When I’m happy with the piece it is then shaped with lapidary equipment. The piece is then placed back in the kiln and re-fired.
